The Waste King L-1001 Legend Series 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Operation Waste Disposer gives you excellent value for the money. It is a very good garbage disposer. The Waste King L-1001 is not as powerful as the top-end models but it is fully capable of grinding all normal food waste.
The smaller motor has some advantages, the Waste King L-1001 is quiet and generates no vibrations.
The compact size of the Waste King L-1001 means that it can be installed under most sinks. It is also very easy to install, you don’t need any plumbing skills or special tools to install the L-1001. Unlike some other cheap garbage disposals, the Waste King L-1001 comes with a power cord. Note that this means you need a power outlet under the sink, or close by.
Like all other Waste King Legend Series garbage disposals, the Waste King L-1001 can be used with a septic tank and you can connect your dishwasher to it.
The Waste King L-1001 does not have any significant cons. Of course, it is not as fast and powerful as the more expensive top-end models. If you have a lot of tough food waste, the Waste King L-1001 may not be powerful enough. But for smaller households with normal food waste, the Waste King L-1001 looks very attractive.

This is a good product. It is easy to install. Everything you need comes with it. The instructions are easy to understand and even a video on the Waste King web site.
